Dakar NOLA, a Senegalese tasting menu restaurant that started in the Crescent City just a few years ago, has earned its first Michelin Star.

The news came Wednesday night with Michelin’s release of its 2026 guide featuring newly starred restaurants and others on the lesser ranked “recommended” list.
